Primary container developed for live transportation of iPS cells

Flask-25

Only the thickness of the flask is designed to be low in order to reduce the volume of culture medium when full without changing the culture area of the flask.
The outer dimensions and opening are similar to those of standard flasks, making them excellent for pipette manipulation and stacking.

Safe transportation with small volume of

culture medium

Enables transportation of half the culture medium while maintaining the same culture area!
For live transport of iPS cells, the flask is needed to be filled to full capacity with culture medium to avoid cell detachment due to surging. The iP-TEC® Flask-25 Series maintains the culture area of a standard flask but can be filled to capacity with less than half the culture medium, significantly cutting down medium costs. This achieves safe transportation with a small volume of culture medium!!

Patented for its unique shape
Besides the capability to fill flasks to full capacity using less than half the volume of culture medium of standard flasks, our exclusive design has obtained a patent for facilitating easy pipette and scraper navigation as well as ensuring stable stackability. The distinctive mini-scraper is structured with a comfortable semi-circular handle and a flexible tip, enabling access to all container corners.

The latest cap type allows for bubble-free tightening and is ideal for rotational and microgravity cultures! Featuring an ultra-thin section of medical-grade silicone rubber, the cap enables CO2 permeability.

ATTRAN, a carrier material for cell sheets, adapts to environmental changes such as freezing, thawing, drying, and swelling of cell sheets. Compared to conventional carrier materials, ATTRAN has superior cell adhesion and detachability, which facilitates cell sheet transfer.

The covers of the dish and well-plate are made of adhesive-free medical silicone rubber, ensuring safety even upon contact with the culture medium. The soft material also facilitates easy opening, minimizing the risk of contamination.

 

No worries about liquid leakage

Special cover structure allows for liquid sealing and CO2 permeation!
The cover consists of an ultra-thin section for ventilation and a thick section to seal the container opening. The ultra-low hardness of the cover seals the opening of the container so that there is no risk of liquid leakage.
*Use in combination with a holding plate, mesh cushion, and secondary container.

Stable transportation

Safe live transport to destination with minimal load on cells
The cover reduces culture medium during transport and protects the cells and biological tissue being transported with a shape that is resistant to rippling. In addition, the transport can be further stabilized by storing them in an airtight and rigid secondary container.
